With the outstanding support of our behavioral health team, the MCES Psychiatrist observes, assesses, medicates, counsels and documents patients from their point of arrival at our emergency facility through the admissions, treatment and follow-up stages. You will provide timely documentation, accurate record keeping and participate fully on our treatment team.
Candidates must have a current Pennsylvania license, proof of successful completion of approved residency, and current DEA Certificate. ECFMG documentation may be accepted. The ability to follow Physicians' orders, manage time and lead others to deliver the most comfortable, compassionate and effective experience for patients is essential. Excellent documentation skills are also necessary.

Psychiatrist – Addiction Specialty
The Greenridge Counseling Center (GRCC) of Intercommunity Action, Inc. is seeking a candidate for a part-time (24 hours per week) Psychiatrist position with knowledge and proficiency in outpatient community mental health. The Psychiatrist will provide outpatient psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and treatment services to individuals struggling with substance use and mental health concerns.
The most suitable candidate will have the skill, knowledge, & understanding to cover the needs of the population served; provide psychiatric care that is consistent with behavioral health best practices including: experience administering Buprenorphin/Suboxone (ASAM certification is preferred but not necessary), Medical degree with active license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Board certified/eligible in addiction psychiatry, or general psychiatry with experience working in addiction, current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances, comfortable utilizing electronic medical record for charting and prescribing purposes and clearance in accordance with PAA Acts 33 & 80.
