Help us help you. . .

We have an immediate need for contributions to our Political Action Committee fund. By law, we MAY NOT use our regular dues funds to support Pennsylvania legislators important to mental health laws. We depend entirely on your generosity to the PAC fund.

A contribution to the PPP PAC gives you a voice in the Pennsylvania legislature. Our lobbyist, staff, and officers need to speak regularly with members of the Pennsylvania Senate and House on proposals that have a direct impact on your practice and the quality of care and service received by persons with mental illnesses. We use the PAC funds to gain entrance to fundraising breakfasts and receptions where we have the chance to make informal contacts, to “put a face on psychiatry,” as it were. This raises our profile and enhances the chances that our opinions will be sought out or thoughtfully considered when we ask for a meeting.
