Transferring membership to and from PA

Transferring In/Out: Each state or jurisdictional area is known as a district branch of the APA. When a member of a district branch (such as Pennsylvania) moves his or her practice or residence from one district branch to another, it is necessary that the member transfer his or her membership to the new district branch. Retired members are not required to transfer district branch membership if they move. They may remain members of the branch with which they have been associated.

To request an application to transfer membership to or from Pennsylvania, call the APA Membership office at 1-888-357-7924 or e-mail to vdea@psych.org. Send an email to acranor@psych.org, or go to www.psych.org/members/myacct/DBtransferform.pdf by clicking here. You may be asked to log in as an APA member.
